Sorry, charms belong on bracelets! While you can decorate your braces with colored bands (we recommend Damon braces which don't need bands at all), hanging a charm off them is a bad idea. If you bite down on the charm, you could damage your braces or your teeth. You could also swallow your jewelry.Letting your orthodontist safely and efficiently guide your treatment means you'll be out of braces faster and with healthier teeth. So, stick with the colored power chain or colored elastics if you're looking to enliven your smile.
